This depends on each individual's doctor assessment. Generally, 1 Thermage Eye tip (450 shots) per session is recommended once a year. For patients with more significant eyelid or under-eye sagging, the doctor may recommend sessions every 6–8 months, or up to 450 shots per eye.

After the procedure, the skin around the eyes will feel approximately 20% firmer, with gradual improvement leading to full results within 1–3 months. Results generally last 12–18 months, depending on age, skincare routine, and lifestyle.

Numbing cream may be applied around the eyes before the procedure, and the doctor will also use numbing eye drops for added comfort. During the procedure, you may feel mild warmth at certain points — it is not harmful to the eyes.

Inform the doctor of any previous procedures or surgeries around the eyes. If wearing contact lenses, please remove them and bring glasses to wear after the procedure.

No downtime is required — you can resume daily activities and normal vision immediately. There may be slight pinkness to the skin, which will fade on its own. Apply moisturising cream and sunscreen regularly. Avoid intense heat such as saunas for 24–48 hours after the procedure. Avoid wearing contact lenses for the first 24 hours. If your eyes feel dry, artificial tears can be used for relief.

Thermage Eye Program and Ultherapy Program (brow lift / around the eyes) each have distinct strengths depending on the skin concern and target area. 

Thermage Eye Program uses radiofrequency energy (Monopolar RF) to volumetrically distribute heat within the dermis to stimulate collagen and tighten the skin — it can be applied directly over the eyelid skin and is suitable for patients with drooping eyelids and wrinkles around the eyes. 

Ultherapy Program uses focused ultrasound energy targeting the deep SMAS layer to lift the brow tail and outer eye corners — it is suitable for patients with drooping brows and outer eye corners, but cannot be applied directly over the eyelid skin. 

The doctor will assess which program is appropriate. If concerns exist in both the eyelid area and the brow/outer eye corner, both programs can be combined for more comprehensive results.
